How great is it to see actual gravel traps rather than acres of tarmac runoff with a natural deterrent built in for anyone running wide.
Qualifying will be exciting as they try to push to the limit, one mistake and your session could be over rather than shake it off and try again.
Yes, it's good to be back in Europe Qualifying will be exciting as they try to push to the limit, one mistake and your session could be over rather than shake it off and try again.

Hopefully next year Imola takes place much later in the year. Was looking forward to a dry race.
With the length and breadth of calendar we have these days, so many established GP's are ending up in the wrong season. Also something called global warming seems to be upsetting weather patterns and generally making circuits stupidly hot or weirdly rainy.Fear not! The FIA are working on mudflaps for F1 cars. Not a joke.

What races do you consider out of season?
Using 94 as an example, Imola was 1st May, Japan was mid April and the 2nd Spain race was mid October!
Can't believe someone is complaining about a bit of rain jeopardy.

I woke up this morning to my phone buzzing from a call from ‘The Dutchman’ who has taken on the challenge of driving to Italy to claim a race day Paddock Club pass!
That's awesome - really lovely of you to offer such an amazing pass out have an amazing weekend - and remember, we need photos! Sandpit Steve said:

Did Newey pull his secret lever on the car on his way out of the garage? the RB seems all over the place balance wise.
I'm not sure they have a particular problem at such. When you have half a second in hand it's easy to get the balance "right enough" and no-one will know it's not perfect; when your competition start to get close, minor misjudgments in setup (or anything else) become far more obvious. I still think Redbull probably have the fastest car overall, but it's far closer than it was two races ago and that's putting them under pressure.
It’ll be awesome if there’s a proper race to be had on Sunday, with several different cars in contention for the win.
Interesting to see RB have it so wrong though.

It's 1006 miles to Imola, we have a full tank of gas, half a packet of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses...
Good stuff both - another PH epic trip about to happen.

Awesome, well done and glad to see a ticket like that not go to waste. You’re a good sport Sir. (Definitely the sort of thing I’d have done in my younger single days two decades ago, I’d have been in the car on the way to Folkestone half an hour after that first post about the spare ticket!)

I couldn’t believe it when my wife gave me permission to investigate options (I had to find a chair to sit on so I could fall off it!), but I couldn’t quite make it work

Trip to Ferrari, Lamborghini also thrown into the return journey…
I’d never wish away what I have, but sometimes the ability for spontaneous carefree stuff is missed!
