How / why? Please stop making this type of statement, week after week, with neither clarification nor examples.
Last week’s VAG, Audi RS6, suffers recurring failure of its 48v starter generator / mild hybrid thingy. Anyone know if the Spur’s similar system relies on the same / shared component?
The Bentleys did not receive the mild hybrid equipment. The RS6 one fails about every 30k kms or so. My friend's 100k km one has had 3 up until now. I’d love to try one to see how much more comfortable they are to compared to something like a 5 series or E class which in my mind are great.
I admire the brand but if I was an extremely wealthy millionaire I think I’d go a Rolls Royce.
To me, Rolls Royce is equated with wealth, but not taste. In fact, I think it's probably the most vulgar car brand I can think of.I admire the brand but if I was an extremely wealthy millionaire I think I’d go a Rolls Royce.
Bentley are synonymous with money and refined taste (to me anyway) and would win that battle without a shadow of a doubt.
The linked one in the article is fantastic:

My only quibble is the First Edition badging which is a bit ‘MINI’…

I’ve had both but if I had to commit to one marque forever it would be Bentley.
