ASA569 is clearly aware that you have to pay extra to be advert-free on Prime Video.

Sky don't offer the full fat Netflix anymore with Q, this is a pay extra option. I've still got full fat on a rolling contract but I don't know when this will end and they'll ask for more £ Clockwork Cupcake said:

Very annoying. I've seen this before with other things - gets to a point where they've run out of ideas/not clever enough to grow the business, so instead just make you pay more for what you already have. I already have, and want, Netflix without f
king adverts, but now I have to pay more for it. Alternatively, I can have adverts, but the smokescreen of 'paying less' is still us paying more because being forced to sit through ads is us making money for them.

ts.As somebody posted either on here or similar thread; having finally provided an offer that stops people illegally streaming, the industry is doing a damn fine job of convincing people to start illegally streaming again.
I'm mildly enjoying that unlocked/prison experiment programme but otherwise I can't remember the last thing I watched on netflix. I also downgraded from 4k to HD in the previous round of price hikes.
Like others I won't pay for a dedicated streaming service that includes ads. I have Prime for the delivery. Paramount was £35 for a year so why not. I borrow Disney from somebody but use it maybe once a fortnight - I certainly wouldn't pay for it.
I seem to spend more time scrolling through endless pages of dross than I do actually watching anything now.

I have Disney+ as a "Lifestyle benefit" on my Lloyds Bank current account. But even there, I notice that this year it will be a "Disney+ with adverts" subscription rather than Disney+, so they're all doing it. Finished last night and must say that I really got into it. The two main characters aside, the supporting cast was great - some genuinely funny dialogue and got pretty dark towards the end.
Set up for another season - I hope it gets one.

If they tied up the plot completely at the end of the first series why would you bother with a second?
I think people are used to a story being stretched over 8 episodes and that's that.
