God, no. Nissan have been selling SUVs over here for donkey's years; the Patrol, Terrano, Pathfinder and X-Trail all pre-date the Murano in the British market. Can't comment as to whether Muranos are reliable, but the fuel consumption can't be fun!

This person had an unhealthy obsession with Mk2 Astra’s.

Pics are old however and the cars have now been scrapped.

Celica Gt4

Only been there for a few years (2020ish) you can just about make out the big rusty dig in the osr quarter panel and the osf bumper damage. In real life it doesn't look beyond saving. But who knows what the rest of its like. Though I wonder about parts costs given its an old Jap rally rep

I had a nearly new Murano for a short period back in 2006, was a fab car to drive, though the CVT gearbox blunted the performance more than a little.

As correctly surmised above the fuel economy was a little scary, I averaged 17mpg in my 1400 miles but most of those were motorway, the chap who had it for a couple of years after me got much less than that in daily use.

I also recall the interior as being rather plastic compared to the Range Rovers of the time and ISTR an ashtray lid or similar actually falling apart, not good for a new car.

We never had another on the fleet!

Yes, the X-Trail predated it by some margin, I test drove one back in 2004 but we never put one on as it was a harsh drive with little to recommend it.

Google maps suggests it's been in the same spot since 2012

That was more of a Mummy-van than a Chelsea tractor though?

How bizarre - at least put it in the garage! Shown as on SORN but MOT expired nearly two years ago. Owner is “hunting tigers”?

Went hiking around Abergavenny and Sugar Loaf yesterday despite the wind! The area is littered with absolutely knackered cars. A couple of examples

On Glasgow Road, Edinburgh I always see this K plate E36 BMW saloon in red just sitting on a drive. Google Maps shows it has been sat there since at least 2011 when it was covered but the years of direct sunlight have not been kind to the paint.

Proper 'disgraced entertainer' spec. It hasn't moved for over ten years.

Evo VI with questionable bodykit and nasty roof vent.
Marked abandoned by council so brought to my work to store for few weeks.
If not claimed it gets scrapped.

Not possible to strip for parts? There must be some usable stuff on there.

Surely, the interior looks good and clean.
I'm not sure about stripping it, possibly. I know I can't buy it. I tried to with a Fiesta ST recently, was in for same thing. I offered to pay the fines plus profit and couldn't do it.
